Free Printable Earth Day Word Search Puzzles for Kids

Whether you have a young child just starting to learn how to read or an older sibling who loves a good challenge, there are two levels of difficulty available to download.

Below, you’ll find an easy download button for each sheet.

Plus, at the bottom of this post, we have a bigger download pack that includes both Earth Day word searches and their respective answer sheets (just in case someone needs a little help!).

Easy Earth Day Word Search

The first level is perfect for younger kids, with larger fonts and simpler word lists. These word searches introduce vocabulary associated with Earth Day, such as “nature”, “recycle”, and “protect”. As children search for these words, they not only build their reading skills but also reinforce their understanding of the themes of the holiday.

This smaller word search is a great option for beginning readers. The puzzle contains 10 words that are easy for younger kids to read. Also, there are no diagonal words.

Earth Day Word Search: 20 Words

For older kids, the second level offers a more complex puzzle. The fonts are slightly smaller, and the word lists include longer words and more complicated Earth Day terminology. These word searches provide a greater challenge, encouraging children to stretch their vocabulary and search for hidden words they may not be familiar with.
